I was asked to take the flyer for the event, and put together an animated Intro/bumper for the footage.

Costa Rica Force

I spent 2 months in costa rica, relaxing and learning to surf. I had been working on all sorts of music and art projects, unfortunately all of my gear, my laptop and camera were stolen. This is one of the only pieces that remains.

Alain Mikli Eyewear Wheat Paste

Its christmas week, 2011, the window shatters in your downtown store, with high volume foot traffic. You board up the windows only to find it looks like your store is closed. What are you to do? Call Devo of course! I came up with a solution for a temporary piece of art that will live as long as the board does. Wheat Paste FTW!

Vitamindevo Cover Art

These began as original photographs from the extremely talented William Perls. And then later manipulated by yours truly. We came up with the concepts and shot several photos in a short run.

Basehead Branding

Santa Cruz based dj and producer Basehead, is fresh out of the gate, and producing some upfront, peak hour electro tracks. He approached me to head up his branding side, and some solid work is what came of it. Along with the promo photography we decided on a future military-esque design, to follow suit alongside his sound.

Lindsey Jacobellis 2012

I was approached by lindsey and her management to update her existing site which i had made for her in 2007. We ended up with a big bold simple design that represented her brand and the carefree positive attitude she exudes every day.

Pogoplug Videos

I was approached by Pogoplug to make a hand full of videos for their website, internal sales tools, and In store advertising. We came up with “Blinky” the talking cloud, who told customers and future buyers, about the product, while staying light and funny. I did the audio Branding for the logo at the end, which was used in every video. I was responsible for almost everything on this project but had outside help with the design of the characters. We later on did a series of ever evolving product walkthroughs explaining the ease of use Pogoplug has. I even did the voice over for Blinky. Let the Sharing revolution Beginnnnnnn…

ZOOMIFY VIRAL

I did this short clip for my debut single “ZOOMIFY” which was released very recently. It shows my performance helmet, and vest in action.
What good single is complete without a branded video…

Daft Punk x Tek Freaks x TRON!

So im sitting in the theatre to see TRON 3D and i was simply blown away. The soundtrack alone was a major selling point, let alone how amazing it looked. So when it came time for my good friends the TEK FREAKS to do a remix for a competition, i stepped up to the plate to re-edit the original Daft Punk music video, but cut to the sounds of Tek Freaks. Here is what we got.

Branding 2010

Heres a hand full of logos for various Djs and music related brands. The Danny Teneglia logos were designed as part of a Logo contest, but were never used.
The Music Nation graphic was used on water bottles, that were given away for free at a Hot Coney Island Music Festival.

Microsoft Xbox 360

I was asked to make a quick experimental video showing the Microsoft Xbox360 , which astro studios designed in all its albino glory. This was shot and edited in 3days. The challenge here was getting the details on the white device to show up on the white background. And with a lil Bassnectar Devo mashup edit, how can it go wrong?

Astro Gaming MLG

Astro Gaming an off shoot of Astro Studios sent me to Dallas, Texas to film the MLG (Major League Gaming) finals for 2010. The goal to capture the astro A-40 headsets in action and show off some of the characters of the event.

The second video is a demo for a UI for the headset tag customizer.

Robot Heart Burning Man Visuals 2010

I put these 2 sample clips together live using modul8 from loops I had made for the ROBOT HEART vehicle at burning man 2010. These were meant to be pods for the vjs to trigger when ever they needed. Most of the content was made in after effects and then triggered via Modul8.

Collage Experiments

Having fun doing digital collage. Really enjoy finding tons of random high res images to make collage pieces. A great and clever way for cover art solutions.

Another Day At The Office

This was my first attempt at doing real time lapse. Its something ive always wanted to do, and will continue to experiment with it. I tried a hand full of experiments leading up to this project, that would aid in the final concept. The goal with this project was to show a sort of Day in the life of astro studios.

With well over a solid 2 weeks of shooting time to make this short piece, I think it came out pretty good. Many people asked how i achieved the panning effect in some of the shots. Well i used a Canon 5D MKII, the effective frame size is somewhere triple HD resolution so i had room to move around on the frames, instead of having to build a time lapse motor rig. Lessons learned, get a laptop that has a HUGE hard drive so you don’t need an external drive to fit the 250GB of uncompressed frames.

Borei Logo Animation

I was asked to do a logo animation while at Astro Studios for Borei, a flexible circuitry manufacturer for toys.
The animation, is playful, short and sweet, just like the simplicity of their product.

Astro Design Book

These were designed as filler pages for the Astro studios theory book. The first design uses a hand full of astro designed products, along with various others, in a collage style. While the second (un-used) was showing astro’s rebellious mentality. Created under the direction of Woo at Astro Studios.

Face Morph

i was experimenting with a new morphing technique in after effects, heres the Morphed results. And yes using bassnectar tunes always makes for better animations.

Gazillion Logo Animation

The logo was designed by Astro Studios for an online Gaming brand for kids, i was asked to make a quick logo animation for their website and sales tools, with the fun and approachable brand the company was aiming for.

HP Firebird

I put this quick experimental piece together for Astro Studios to show off the product, designed by the studio. The Firebird is primarily designed as a gaming computer, shooting the glossy black computer on a black background proved harder than in theory, but it turned out very well.

Flip Graphics

While at Astro Studios I designed these case graphics and a hand full of others. Each person on the team busted out a handfull for the official Astro Studios page on the flip store where people can purchase custom graphics while they order their flip cam.

Astro Studios Boomcast

This internal astro studios project, was a collaboration between the design team and several industrial designers, to come up with what could be the future of the street boombox. For each persona a design was created to meet their possible needs. We call it BOOMCAST!

Zune HD concept

Astro studios, designer of the Zune HD, were asked to design a graphic to be etched into the back of the Zune HD for a special edition model. I created the background 3d pieces for this image to compliment the on product graphic.

The red design I called “Sharp Feedback” was not used, but i still really like the concept.

Astro Gaming Customizer

This was a conceptual UI design and Animation for what eventually became the Astro Gaming Tag Customizer. Where users could upload their own content, and place it wherever they wanted on the tags, and order them.

Sidekick Graphic Shells

While at astro studios was we were approached by T-Mobile to design some custom shells for their new sidekick 3, this is what happened. I designed the Topographic one as well as put together the video showcasing all the flavors and styles of the shells.

HP HDX DESKTOP GRAPHIC

While at Astro Studios we were asked by HP to design a default desktop background for their HDX line of laptops. The one on screen was the one they picked.

Circuit Strike Game Audio

I was asked to put together the soundtrack for this iphone game called circuit strike. The special thing about this project, is that unlike other games where the music simply played in the background, the music would change and get more intense depending on the level of game play. It was a fun challenge with limitations of the iphone, in the end the music, sound FX and voice overs that i created worked and help make the game intense and fun to play.
